My students are from a small school that has high poverty. They all want to learn and love to be challenged. By funding my projects you are helping me make Algebra an interesting subject. As a teacher I am always trying to find ways to make algebra fun. We do mostly group work and take many challenges. Some of my projects require technology that the wonderful donors on this site have helped fund. Now I am am trying to bring math to life. One of my current projects teaches the kids about economics. Students complete for status in the room. The group with the most status is given the roll of board of directors, and gets to sit in office chairs. The other project is asking for camcorders. My students love creating how-to videos and sharing them with other students. Thank you to all donors for helping make Algebra a favorite class instead of the dreaded class.
