Thank you so very much for your contribution. There are really no words to thank people like you that give of their time and money to help those less fortunate. The students and I are very thankful for all your help. They are really enjoying the new instruments and music that you have helped to provide.

The students have used the items you purchased on a regular basis since we received them. These materials have not only helped their music education but their enjoyment, confidence and social skills as well. We have played many songs and shared our thoughts about not the instruments but about all the information we have learned. We have learned basic music theory by discussing rhythmic note value and then playing on the instruments that you purchased. The students are very motivated by musical instruments and love having the opportunity to not only play them but learn more about music in connection to them.

My school is a great place to work and be, but we have our issues. The vast majority of our students are living in poverty. Without your help they would not have had the option to play or even see these instruments. It is my goal to show them that they can succeed and choose a different path in life that what they have now. Music is an escape for many of them and they enjoy it very much.
