  • Making Learning Fun!

    Funded Mar 27, 2025

Thank you so much for you generosity! We really appreciate it! We will be able to get so many good resources to help us review for end of the year testing and to do fun learning activities for the end of the school year! My class will be so excited!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Wheatley

  • Learning in Color!

    Funded Dec 5, 2024

Thank you so much for your donations! We have really enjoyed having this colored printer in our classroom. We have been able to print many things to amplify our learning. We have printed pictures of vocabulary words to help our MLLs. We are currently learning about waves in science and we wrote an explanatory essay about waves as well. Having the colored pictures to help us understand what the vocabulary words mean has made it easier for our MLLs to understand what we are learning about.

We also recently completed our Author Reports. Since we have our new printer, we were able to print out our written reports and print out color pictures to put on our posters about our authors. We were able to put these on display in the hallway for the whole school to see what we learned.

We are so grateful to have this resource in our classroom!”

  • Calming Supplies and Classroom Rewards

    Funded Nov 29, 2023

Thank you so much for you donations to our classroom. My students have really enjoyed using the calming stickers when they feel stressed or frustrated. They have also helped out when students have taken tests that might be hard for them.

My class also really appreciates the new headphones. These are very important to us as we use them every day. Having a few extras for when headphones break is such a stress reliever. Students don't have to worry when theirs break, because they can get a new one from your donation!

My class is also really enjoying the new games for inside recess. They make the winter weather bearable by giving my students something fun to do inside! Thank you again for helping out our class!”

  • Improving Learning Using Technology

    Funded Jan 6, 2023

It has been a wonderful blessing receiving these Chromebooks! They have helped us tremendously in reviewing and preparing for end of year testing. My students have been able to start passing off their multiplication and division facts in Reflex. They have been so excited and proud of themselves. They have then been able to do end of the year math reviews in Prodigy, a game they love to play even in their free time. These programs have helped my students remember what we have learned this year, and helped them do amazing on their end of year tests! Thank you so much for supporting my students!”

  • Increasing Learning Through Technology

    Funded Aug 26, 2022

I can't express how appreciative my class and I are for your generous donation! This year has been really tough having so many students and no where close to enough Chromebooks. With the addition of this new Chromebook, we have an extra student at all times able to do their work and enjoy using the technology.

My students have been able to get more of their writing completed in class using Google Docs. They have been able to pass off more of their math facts using Reflex. They have also been able to complete more group work in Social Studies.

Again, we really appreciate your kind donation and will forever be grateful to you for it!”

  • Technology: Learning for the Future!

    Funded Sep 10, 2021

We are so incredibly grateful for your generous donation to our classroom! My students are so happy to have their own, functioning, Chromebooks to use in class! The students who are currently using these Chromebooks were extremely excited to get to use a brand new Chromebook that didn't have issues that made working on them frustrating.

My students have used these new Chromebooks daily since we got them! We have used them for math and reading tests, for math games to practice our math facts and long division. We have also used them for spelling tests, writing projects, and social studies and science assignments.

These Chromebooks really have made a great difference to my students who are using them. Thank you again for your generosity!”

  • STEAMing Up Our Learning With Technology

    Funded Oct 7, 2016

We are extremely grateful for your generous donations to our classroom! You wouldn't believe the difference having 5 more Chromebooks and headphones has made to our class! Anytime we need to do a group project, like our technology based STEAM projects, we are able to have groups of 3 at the max. Having this small of a group really helps our STEAM projects run smoothly.

We have completed 2 technology based STEAM projects since receiving our new Chromebooks. We first used them in math while talking about number patterns. We learned about Blues Music and used a website to create our own Blues songs. Then we used the Chromebooks in Social Studies. We created a map of a road trip we could go on. We used Google My Maps to trace our route, calculate the number of miles we went, and to calculate the time it would take us.

We have also been very grateful to be able to use these Chromebooks to have more students be able to take their spelling tests at the same time. Also, our class loves that whenever they finish their writing projects, they can go straight to typing their essays instead of having to wait around till we have access to our school's Chromebook Carts.

Again, we have loved having these Chromebooks and are so grateful for people like you who donate so we can have this technology in our class!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Wheatley

  • Continuing to Thrive Through Technology

    Funded Mar 17, 2016

    Dear Donors,

We are extremely grateful for all those who helped us get this Chromebook and our headphones! We use them almost every day. We have used these every Friday when taking our spelling tests online. This has let student go at their own pace as they take their test. We have also use our Chromebook when students need typing practice or when they need to type their writing project. Also, we have made Power Point Presentations to share with the class about what we have learned.

My students' favorite thing to do with the Chromebook and headphones is definitely to play math games. This is such a fun a great way to practice our math! They love being able to play around doing math video games while I pull back students that may need a little more help.

I have a few students who love the Chromebook and headphones so much that they will always check to make sure that they are plugged in, put away, and not tangled up without my needing to ask them. They feel a great sense of pride that they have this technology to use whenever they need to. I am so glad that this technology makes such a difference in my students' lives!”

  • Thriving Through Technology

    Funded Oct 21, 2015

I can't tell you how grateful we are for your donation to our classroom! Me and my students are incredibly grateful and amazed at your generosity. We have used the Chromebooks you donated to our classroom almost daily. In reading we have used them to take spelling tests as well as reading comprehension tests. We have used them in math to do many review activities and math games. In social studies we have used them to create Power Point projects, do research, and to play review games. We have used the Chromebooks in writing to type our essays and get feedback on our writing.

My students absolutely love our classroom Chromebooks. They literally race to the front to get to use one. They finish their work as quickly as they can so they can use a Chromebook. Again, we are so grateful for your donation. You have really made a difference in my classroom!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Wheatley
