Punch Needles for Fine Motor Fun
Funded Mar 11, 2025Thanks so much for providing my class with a set of punch needles! This will be such a fun way to develop fine motor skills and explore fiber crafts. Our school district is making unprecedented cuts to classroom budgets, and without the support of donors like you hands-on projects would be lost.”

We will be able to start the year off organized and ready for learning, with high-quality arts supplies that will last all year. Thanks for providing authentic, hands-on learning for my students.”

Art Every Day
Funded Aug 26, 2024Thanks so much for your generous support of arts instruction! Young children love to create, and given bountiful materials and time, they will surprise even themselves with the beauty and power of their creations.
Our school district made about fifty million dollars in cuts last year and plans to cut another one hundred and twenty million dollars in the coming year. The arts have not been spared; if anything, the cuts to "enrichment" activities have been especially severe. Without the help of donors like you, the children in my class would have far fewer opportunities to grow as artists.”

Funded Nov 13, 2024Thanks so much for your generous gifts supporting my students. This iPad will mean that we can have a center with cooperative coding every day! While it's important that children develop facility with technology, I want their screen time to be as hands-on as possible, with lots of opportunities for productive failure, tinkering, and talk, Your donations will make that a reality for us!”

Funded Mar 15, 2024Thanks so much for your generosity in supporting my Kindergarten students. The materials you provided helped us finish off the 2023-4 school year, with some left over for opening this school year. After learning many techniques for watercolor painting, students created new masterpieces showing off the skills they'd learned - and the new class has already explored wax resist and wet on wet techniques as well as color transfer. I think all students love Sharpie markers, and they encourage neat lettering, careful coloring, and since they are not water-based they provide opportunities to add to watercolor painting.”

Paper Please!
Funded Mar 15, 2024Thanks so much for restocking our paper supply! In addition to making games and flash cards for the class, this paper came in handy for student creations! Thick, crisp paper scores and cuts better than other paper, which allows students to experiment with pop ups and other three dimensional effects in their writing and art. Having a wide variety of shades also encourages experimentation and hands-on learning.
Our school district is facing a deficit and anticipates making a further $100 million dollar in cuts. Supply budgets have been drastically cut. Without the support of donors like you, my students would not have the opportunity to explore and create with such wonderful materials.”

Cool and Colorful
Funded Jun 6, 2024Thanks so much for supporting my Kindergarten class. We had a very warm September and October, and the fan made a huge difference. Our classroom is directly above the boiler, which runs year round. Without some additional air circulation, it can be stifling and hard to learn. Thanks to you, it was easier to keep the room cool.
Of course, the art supplies were a huge hit. Kindergartners love to create, and when they have rich, varied materials they stretch themselves to explore and take time with their creations.”

Funded Mar 15, 2024Thanks so much for helping us get a die cut machine and dies for our staff room! This resource has saved a lot of labor making beautiful bulletin boards and has opened up new artistic possibilities. Because the die-cut is a heavy-duty model, we can even cut fabric and leather with it, enabling all kinds of mixed-media arts projects.
With the machine, we can make so many hands-on manipulatives to extend student learning. Teaching partitioning and fractions? Die cut shapes are a great way to practice, and the results make cool art projects! Working on counting by fives? Die cut handprints let every student make a poster showing how to count by fives to one hundred.”

Help Stock Our Staff Room!
Funded Dec 14, 2023Thanks so much for providing us with a die cut machine and plenty of dies! This new resource has been a boon to our school. Teachers no longer laboriously cut letters and shapes by hands for art projects. Moreover, we can use a much wider variety of materials, even leather, because the die cut machine is heavy-duty and can manage it.
When teachers can provide hands-on prep materials, students benefit. Want to demonstrate counting by fives? Give every student twenty hand die cuts and let them create posters demonstrating counting by fives to one hundred. Want to practice partitioning and fractions? Die cut shapes are the perfect way to do so. Thanks to donors like you, we can provide these fun learning experiences.”

Bookbinding and Paper Crafts for Brilliant Writers
Funded Dec 10, 2023Thanks so much for helping us get these resources! My class had a blast making individual and shared books, from drafting to editing to building to sharing! They even entered a collaborative poetry book into a city contest and won an award!
Our school district is facing an enormous budget deficit and there are few resources for arts education. It is so important to integrate the arts into every academic subject. Without the support of donors like you, my students would not benefit from these creative experiences.”
