• Learning Supplies!

  Thank you for donating to this project. With the supplies we were able to have the basics for our scholars whenever they needed them. Having a fresh pencil whenever needed allows our scholars to be prepared for class and not worry about where to find a writing utensil.

  The highlighters have been a big help especially as our scholars work to annotate reading. They have also been a great tool for peer edits during writing. The colored pencils have also helped with this process.

• Upgrade Our Tech!

  This project had a huge impact on our learning and continues to have a positive impact. The tv allowed students to be distant and still be able to follow along with our lessons. It also allowed then to interact with those who were learning from home.

  This technology will continue to have a positive impact on learners for years to come. As we continue to move towards online textbooks this allows me to project and hold group discussions!

• Powerful Reading

  Thank you for donating to this project. With the funds from this project I was able to purchase classroom sets of Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief and Esperanza Rising. I also was able to purchase some other books related to the topics of human rights and Green mythology. My students have been able to have a nice new book in their hand as we read these together. Our vocabulary and reading lessons are based off these novels so it has been a lot of fun reading and digging deeper into these texts. Students were able to use these books both at home and in school.”

  Thank you so much for helping us purchase these books. We have finished Esperanza Rising and are now reading Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief. We are enjoying the conversation that comes from these texts. My students are reading and enjoying these novels every day. I was able to give books to all learners, including those learning from home. All students have been able to communicate and participate in discussions which has been very powerful. I am very thankful for your donation to this project because during these hard times it has helped a lot in my classroom.”

• Chromebooks in 5th Grade!

  Thank you for helping us fund out project to purchase additional Google Chromebooks for our classroom. This donation allowed out class to have a 1 to 1 ratio of Chromebooks. All students now have access to the online learning application that we use and they can work at the same time as others. Our class has also used these to research and type papers.

  Your donation has made it possible for all my students to work at the time time which helps with my planning and execution of online assignments. The kids really enjoy using these tools in their everyday learning!”

• Chromebook Accessories

  The Chromebook accessories have had a big impact on my classroom because they have made it possible for students to do more things using the computers. The wireless mouse allows them to navigate applications easier, the headphones allow them to get directions and further assistance from websites, and the screen cleaner has allowed us to keep our computer screens maintained so they can last longer.

  My students and I are grateful for the donation you made to fund this project. We will continue to use Chromebooks to further our learning each and every day.”

• Google Chromebook!

  Funded Dec 1, 2015

  This additional Chromebook will have a positive impact on my classroom because it brings our classroom total up to 14 computers! We are close to having a 1 to 1 ratio which improves the efficiency of this resource. My students use these computers for all subject areas and we have put many online applications to use. They enjoy being engaged in the programs that allow them to work at their own pace and development.

  I will continue to push for additional Chromebooks until I have a complete classroom set. Thank you for helping me achieve this goal and my students and I appreciate your donation.”
