• Wear, Scan, Celebrate!

  Thank you so much for your support of our students. The students are loving their lanyards and the ability to have people scan them and give them points. They love the recognition they get from multiple people on campus in a meaningful way. The lanyards have also been helpful to teachers as a way to organize student badges and make them easy to carry with them as they travel around the campus. We are so excited to continue this project and give students the option to "upgrade" their lanyard to more detailed/personalized lanyards over time.”

• Stocking the Store

  Thank you again for your generosity towards our students!

  The students have been excited to see all of the new items in the store and have been working hard to earn their points. The teachers are reporting that students are talking to their classmates about the items in the store which helps create a buzz around campus.

  This shows that our students are buying into our program which creates a cycle of success. Recognizing positive behavior choices is a helpful tool in elementary school to help students make good habits and routines that will help them through adulthood.”

• Colorful Copies for All!

  You better believe I put this to use the day I received it! I spent the day printing social stories, making visual schedules and incentive charts for students. Having this in my room where I can quickly and easily make resources to help students makes me so happy. In teaching we try to keep things simple, but color printing is not one of those simple things (unless you do it at home).

  The students are thrilled to see things that are created just for them. They are used to things being in black and white so the color excites them as well. They feel like they are getting "real things" instead of the stuff I "copied" for them. Here's to many more "real things" created for my kids!!”

• STEM Stations

  These STEM activities are going to be so exciting! My students have been asking about them since the boxes showed up in my room and we finally got to show them! They are excited to use these activities after testing as a fun way to keep learning. I am excited to see how the kids do with some of the science they have learned about this year and that they are still excited about it months later. These activities are also helping us to continue our community by working together, and sharing ideas and knowledge. Thank you all so much!”

• Keep Calm and Keep Learning

  Thank you again for assisting with this project! Our students are using these items to help regulate their emotions and are finding success with using strategies learned within the classrooms.

  They were so excited to see the big box coming in and to explore all of the items inside. Their favorite part is definitely the fidgets and the stomp pad. They love practicing "calming down" even when they are already calm, but they know the purpose and the intent behind the items.

  Next steps for these items include giving students role playing opportunities and asking them which items/strategies they would use for different situations to help them apply real world connections.”

• Learning That Sticks!

  What fun we have been having creating and designing! We even created our own design for a T-shirt and used it for a school fundraising event. The students were so excited to be a part of the process by helping to design and create shirts that were worn by almost 200 people on our campus!

  This has especially been exciting for our Behavior support students who have a chance to create and be recognized by their peers schoolwide for their creativity.

  I know the students are excited to create and design more so they can share them with their peers. I can't wait to see what they come up with!”

• Dismissal? 10-4, Over and Out!

  Funded Aug 24, 2021

  We are so grateful for this project being funded. With these new walkie talkies and straps all students and teachers are able to hear when and where to dismiss. Parents are able to go to their specified come and students are there waiting for them. We have been able to cut our car rider dismissal time in half, which allows teachers more time to prepare, students more time with their families and parents less frustration while picking up. We hope this set up will last us for years to come!”

• Help Us Store Our Store!

  Funded Jun 11, 2021

  I am so excited to be able to set up our school store. It took a lot of sweat and hard work, but we were able to put it together in just a few days.

  The first group of shoppers came through this week and were so impressed. They loved the variety of items and how easy it was to find things. The variety of containers makes sorting items easy and allows for more specific labeling. This will be a great asset to our school and encourage students to make smart choices. I'm excited for our students to be recognized and learn life skills at the same time. Thank you for your continued support!”
