• Let's Build STEM Leaders Together!

  With your help, I was able to create STEM Bins for inquiry and exploration. Students are able to grab resources during provocation and after finishing work early. They even ask to explore during recess on inclement weather days.

  My students were so excited to see all of the new resources arrive. The were full of thanks and took turns trying out the different choices, and were able to engage in STEM thinking an Engineering & Design.

  This letter is coming to you a little late because Covid-19 shut down our in-person learning and engagement. The donation you provided so we could add Versatiles kits to our classroom was a hit. Students were completing tasks in order to move to this station. I cannot thank you enough for your contribution to students Mathematics practice. I wish I had pictures to provide of the smiling faces, hard work and progress that was cultivated through your in-kind gifts. • Increase "The Sound of Learning" with Bluetooth Speakers

  Thank you so very much for contributing to my classroom environment. Since we have received your donation, students have participated in the use of speakers for "chill beats" and opportunities for motivational music. Students have been able to earn points to have them placed at their tables in rotations. What they are most excited able, is coordinating the lights to match their table's team color. Additionally, I have been able to use the speakers for audio needs in the classroom. We watch curriculum-based science videos that require sound, and I am able to use this feature to connect sound wirelessly in different areas of the room.

• Learning Counts With Coffee and Computation!

  My students were excited to get started with elements of this project! When the items first arrived, the students were ready to drop what we were doing and get into it. We are fresh off state testing and reviewing coins and bills once again. We started with taking data about everyone's favorite warm drink (coffee, tea or coca). The goal is to have each student calculate totals independently through differentiated tasks. Once they do so, we will end our mini-unit with tasty treats for our Tiger Teachers.”

• Help BOOST S.T.E.A.M. Learning with Lego Creative Toolbox!

  My students LOVEEE the Lego Creative Toolbox! When it arrived, they asked me about it everyday until we started. I had to purchase additional batteries quick- and we hit the ground running. What I loved most about this project was that it allowed my students to be architects and engineers. We built Vernie the Robot in sections and the students learned to code as we went along. Our first round was a success, and not my students are ready to complete more complex designs- and we have you to thank! Your support for my student's learning is genuinely appreciated.”

• Yoga Mats And Books For Positive Mental Health!

  My students enjoyed learning yoga moves and "getting our minds ready" to learn each day. When I brought the boxes in the classroom the students were in awe of the yoga mats and immediately started to remove their shoes! They did a picture walk of the books we received and compared the illustrations to the yoga moves presented on each mat. Their favorite pose were the bridge, tree and warrior poses. In the future, our class will be incorporating yoga into our weekly routine as a Fitness Friday activity. Without your kindness, this would not have been possible. • Break-free from traditional learning with BreakoutEDU!

  My students absolutely LOVE the break out kit missions we are able to have, thanks to your kind donations. Currently, I introduce Breakout Collaborative learning once a month, that includes the kit and skills we are working on for Math and Phonics intervention. Students work in teams, along with myself and/or my paraprofessional. The goal is to move learning toward student-lead inquiry, which has been amazing, thanks to your contribution. My students are engaged and motivated to use the resources, just as they were when they first arrived. Even my students who are more introverted and speaking up to participate in the educational tasks. I honestly cannot thank you all enough for your help!”

• Help Build Our Listening Library

  Thank you very much for your contribution to our Listening Library. The students were so excited when the box arrived. They especially enjoy the Dr. Seuss Read Alongs!!

  My favorite part has been watching my students develop a sense of independence and confidence in literacy. Students have been able to take ownership of their literacy growth by accessing stories that are beyond their current reading level, sharing with a friend instead of waiting for a teacher read aloud. Students have listened to a story, following along in the book, determined to learn to read a "harder books like the big kids!"

  The students not just listening to stories, they are learning to read, learning to use their actors voice and build fluency. They love pairing books with our Dinosaur Book Buddies! They are also learning how to discuss and talk about the different stories! They are engaged and excited. Your kindness did that. Thank you so much!”
