• Making Our World Colorful!

  Thank you so much for your support of my Donors Choose project. You truly made our bulletin boards so much more colorful. The paper and markers were so fun to open and use throughout the building.

  Our classroom and school bulletin boards were so much more fun and festive using the paints, brushes, and paint pens. Budgets don't usually allow for extras, so having these supplies was such a blessing

• Forever Learner

  I'm not quite sure that words can adequately express my gratitude for your kind donations to my project "Forever Learner"... but I am so very grateful. Being able to finish this degree with your help will help me become a better teacher for my students. With your help I will be able to take two classes this semester instead of taking the semester off. I know that you had many projects to choose from and I am so thankful that you helped mine come to fruition. • Living in Color

  Funded Aug 18, 2020

  The Living in Color project has really helped some of our classwork come alive. Students are able to print their work to display in the hallways and share them with their parents. We are able to print our resources in color for use in the classroom which makes learning so much more fun and exciting.

  It seems like it would not make much of a difference in the classroom, but the students take so much pride in their finished products when it prints out just like they have created digitally. We are so very thankful that you helped fund this project for our classroom!”

• Living in Color

  The Living in Color project has really helped some of our classwork come alive. Students were able to print their end of unit solar system projects out to display in the hallways and share them with their parents. We just finished our unit on ecosystems and they were also able to print their food web models out in color.

  It seems like it would not make much of a difference in the classroom, but the students take so much pride in their finished products when it prints out just like they have created digitally. We are so very thankful that you helped fund this project for our classroom!”

• Tie Tuesday

  Funded Aug 29, 2018

  Tie Tuesday has become a special day each week at our school. The shirts purchased allow any boy in 3rd-5th the opportunity to dress up and look professional. Our community helped donate hundreds of ties so the boys have lots of options when dressing professionally.

  In addition to Tie Tuesday for the boys, our school decided to find a way for the girls to get in on the action and purchased costume jewelry to allow the girls to have Girls With Pearls.

  Tuesdays at our school has become one of the students', teachers', and parents' favorite days.”

• We're Going to the Georgia Aquarium!

  I'm not quite sure how to explain with words how amazing our aquarium experience was in November. The children and the teachers had an absolutely fantastic day from start to finish. I'm sure it's hard to imagine, but the kids are STILL talking about this field trip many months later.

  We learned so many new things on this field trip, but more importantly, we created memories together and gave them experiences to share with their peers. It truly was a special day... made even more special because of the people and companies that worked together to make it possible for our kids!”

• Chromebooks in Class

  We have had our Chromebook for a few months now and this addition brings our classroom to 8 total. The kids love being able to grab a Chromebook and take it to their seats or to a comfortable spot in the classroom. They are able to work on instructional programs, listen/watch stories online, and even do research.

  We are so fortunate that donors like you have helped our classroom. The fact that we have 8 Chromebooks is HUGE as a teacher. Although we are not yet 1:1, we certainly are getting closer one project at a time. Thank you for helping with this project and investing in my students. It certainly takes a village and I am thankful you were a part of ours.”
