Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a math special education teacher on our campus. I work with all grade levels 6th through 8th grade students in math. Many of our students require calculators as part of their IEP accommodations. We started the year with enough caculators for our inclusion and resource students; however, as the year has progressed, many of our calculators have been lost and/or broken and we do not have enough to provide all our students who require one. Students need these particulator calculators because they are the same ones the students use on their STAAR assessment. Please consider supporting our project for calculators.
