This September 7, I will be competing in a half-ironman distance triathlon at Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH. While training for this event, I would like to raise money to support K-12 science education through DonorsChoose.org.

Andy Sappey from Colorado gave to SIMS: The Wonders of Magetism

As a scientist, I feel it is critical for students to be at least exposed to science in the classroom as it pervades our everyday lives. Understanding science and technology is critical for making decisions about its potential uses.

Mike Starr from Indiana gave to SIMS: The Wonders of Magetism

I gave to this project because Andy Berger said he had embarrassing photos of me that he would post on the internet if I didn't donate... Kidding! I've always been interested in math and science, and I hope this helps the next generation of students share that interest as well! Thanks for doing what you do!
