Our school was named after one of the great innovators in music education. Although we are in an urban location, we have the unique opportunity to have a partnership with one of the premier university music programs in the country, and yet our students do not have adequate outlets to learn and create music. Our school is an inter district magnet school, and our students mostly come from the urban area where the school is situated and the surrounding towns.
