We Can! Let's put tablets in little hands (1st) and help them become tech literate, digital citizens, who can globally communicate. Tablets are intuitive for little fingers to swipe and slide. A computer mouse and keyboard are very difficult. To help students become College and Career ready, they should have access to tech so they can; problem solve, communicate, be creative, and learn in a safe environment. We currently do not have access to Tablets and we are getting Wi-Fi this year. Our computer lab rarely works and we have access once a week. We are currently working on a global collaboration project with 4 other classrooms from around the US and the world. Can you imagine being able share with students from Scotland, comparing facts and stories about the Loch Ness monster "Nessy" and "Chessy" from the Chesapeake Bay, USA? The future classroom using tech has no walls or boundaries, except what the mind can do!
