My Students

My students are amazingly special because they get to learn their curriculum through art integration every day. All the students at our school dance, sing, act, and create using the arts to express their learning. These students stand in front of other classmates, and often the whole school, and do things many adults would be embarrassed or scared to do! They do amazing things every day while learning! Being a magnet school, we have kids from all different towns, neighborhoods, and backgrounds, but they all come to school ready to work together cooperatively.

My Project

These trifold boards and lap desks will allow students to make their own home office workspace Incase they need to do part time/ full time learning at home throughout this year! The trifold board will allow them to have privacy to focus, as well as allow us to post important information and strategies on it, as I would make anchor charts for the classroom. The lap desk will allow them to use their technology and keep track of their supplies so that even in a chaotic home where multiple children may be working, they can find a space to make their own.
