Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school services kids kindergarten through fifth grade and provides academics, a hardworking group of teachers and a safe learning environment. My elementary school provides tremendous support for the teachers but most importantly, for the students and their families. My school services kids not only in the community but as well, for kids who are low income. The school opens its doors during the weekdays and weekends for extra curricular activities. The families and staff are supportive to one another and because of the closeness we share, we are able to provide the best school experience possible for the students.
My Project
Tablets will allow my students to use technology in the classroom. As a technology growing society, students need to be able to explore and learn the foundations of technology. Using tablets, students can interact with educational games and projects. Students will be able to enjoy listening to reading, educational games and keyboarding. Students will be able to engage with one another and participate in student to student teaching. Tablets will also allow for accommodations to lessons and incorporate different learning styles. Tablet programs allow teachers to collect data for the games and lessons they play. Technology in the classroom will help prepare students for the future.
