This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are little rock stars; I see how they can get discouraged when they come across a book, how they can't get motivated, and how they struggle in certain subjects while learning, but they are determined to learn and try their hardest. The best way to get their attention with reading during our morning routines is through play. Letting their imagination see a kid's kindle and learn at the same time will help develop their vocabulary and help them read during reading resources. Touch screens and books can assist in stimulating their minds.
