Do you remember the first time you used new technology at school? Perhaps you were the first group to use PCs or the Internet. Our world is becoming more technologically driven; help my students excel while using technology in the classroom.
My 5th grade students are eager to explore with technology.
Our middle-sized suburban school in Georgia strives to give them many opportunities to try out new technology at school. However, it is difficult to share 1 tablet fairly among 1,300 students. We want to incorporate the use of technology, but currently do not have a tablet for our classroom.
My Project
Students will be able to use a tablet daily to read e-books, research texts to cite and support their writing. We will incorporate QR codes in small group to check work and practice math facts. Students will love accessing the numerous educational apps available.
Contributing to this project will help us purchase technology that is easy to use and easily accessible in a classroom.
Students will access text in fun ways and learn how to integrate technology in new and exciting ways. Your generosity will guarantee that more students will be able to use technology in our electronically driven world!
