I have a room full of excited and energetic 2nd graders!
My class is an amazing group of fun kids that love to learn and have fun while doing so.
They love when I incorporate movement into lessons. We take many movement breaks throughout the day to keep them focused on the task at hand. Our school has a high percentage of free and reduced lunch. Many of these students are coming to me with many needs.
My Project
The balance balls would definitely be put to good use in my classroom. These kids are movers and shakers and need movement throughout the day to stay focused. With these balance balls my kids can still work at the same time as they are moving. Being able to give them the ability to move while sitting would be a huge help to them.
This project would make my classroom much more successful and allow my students to move while we learn.
They would be much more focused and ready to learn with these balance balls.
