My Students

A typical day in our classroom is packed full of amazing facts and questions! My students are hungry for more information and love learning new things.

My students are young scientists and mathematicians.

Their favorite time in the classroom is during science and math! If they could they would do science experiments everyday! Our school is a small school, we are a title 1 school every student qualifies for free lunch, and our school has limited funding. I have limited resources in the classroom but I'm very creative and can usually make the things I need.

My Project

We have been working on plant and animal cells and how they function within the body. We are also talking about bacteria and viruses and how they can infect a plant or animal cell. My students would benefit greatly if we could actually see these things with our own eyes. If we had microscopes students would be able to describe what they look like and compare similarities and differences. I believe that students would actually retain this information if they were able to look at them and create hypothesis and theory's based upon their viewings. Besides the educational outcomes students will be excited to do this project and it may become one of their favorite memories of my class!

Your donations to our project would improve our learning ability by giving use the basic tool needed in science.

This tool will increase students love for science and may grow a passion for science in some students who may grow up to become great scientist!
