This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Rockets! Sounds fun right? Well we are covering rockets in our semester but we need a little help.

My students are amazing.

They work hard and choose to come to our school. They do their best and their background varies. They rarely miss school. I teach 6th grade so they are still new to middle school. We are a science and engineering school. It is a safe environment.

My Project

We will use these resources to build rockets and test them. We will record and graph data using this rocket launcher. We will explore more gravity and space travel. Students will take ownership of their work. We will test pressure and see how these concepts relate to real life.

This project will help me explain gravity and pressure.

These materials will allow my students to have a hands-on experience. Students will learn to grow a love for all things space.
