My Students

We work hard to reach our goals in my classroom. Some of my students have significant challenges, and many are working to recover credits so they can graduate on time.

My students come from all over the world.

Our school is so fortunate to have such a diverse student body. The cultures, languages, and traditions enrich our school and community. My students all require individualized educational support. Our classes are a bit smaller, which gives us a strong sense of community and teamwork within the room.

My Project

Many of my students are having to work hard to graduate on time. They have to make up for lost credits by taking online courses in addition to their regular class load. A printer is a key part in these online classes and allows them to work more quickly. One of the five classes that I teach is a study skills class. This class gives students time to work on assignments from other classes. Often, students have research projects to complete. having a printer would help them with this. A large part of my work with my students involves confidential paperwork. The printer that I currently have access to is in a shared workroom which students have access to. There's no way for me to ensure that the documents I print are kept confidential.

These materials would allow my students to be more productive and ensure that their confidential paperwork is not seen by other students or staff.

For some of them, graduating on time is a big challenge. Having a printer in the room will help them recover the credits they need more quickly.
