This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our students love hands on activities. Puzzles would be a great addition to our media center maker space! Puzzles develop memory skills, as well as test ideas and solve problems. Overcoming the challenges involved in solving a puzzle will give them a sense of achievement and pride within themselves. It can provide a boost to their self-confidence and self esteem as this can prepare them for other life skills. Puzzles also help engage curiosity and creativity. They can be a fun and enjoyable educational outlet in starting conversation skills and building bonds with other students.
