Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My pre-k 3 and 4-year-old students are resourceful and fun-loving kids. They come from low-income families and from the most impoverished communities.
My students and I have embarked on the distance learning journey and are actively engaging in all sorts of different online and at home platforms while learning new things.
By providing hands-on activities that have my preschoolers playing their level of engagement and participation, and families' willingness to try new things will dramatically help increase their knowledge.
Despite the hardships they may be going through with our centers being closed, my students are smart resilient human beings, and having the right resources available for them, will succeed.
My Project
By giving my students access to manipulatives for hands-on sensory learning, they will be able to use play dough at home during online summer school lessons creating letters and words with sensory kits. My little learners absolutely love playing bingo and providing the games will help them thrive these games will also help parents have a wonderful interactive time with their children! It will provide hours of fun learning experiences.
You will be providing hands-on activities that have my preschoolers playing their level of engagement and participation, and families' willingness to try new things will dramatically help increase their knowledge.
