My Students

Trying to get 2nd graders to be organized is difficult as it is, but when you lack storage space it makes it a far more difficult task.

My students are brand new second graders.

They are a very excited group. We have been in school for a week and they work very hard to meet my expectations. We are at a new school that is already full. My classroom is in a portable that is quite limited on space.

My Project

Right now I am struggling with where my students should keep the their supplies such as notebooks, books, completed assignments, etc.... Upon receiving the seat sacks, students will be able to have a quick easy storage for all of their belongings. Normally all of their items would go in their desks but my classroom is full of tables. By having seat sacks, my students will learn how to keep organized and they will be able to save time doing it!

This projects will improve the flow of my classroom.

Time will not be wasted walking and moving to put papers away. Students will be able to quickly turn and put away assignments and grab books that they might need. With the time saved, students will be able to spend that time learning core subjects.
