My students need math manipulatives such as blocks and activity cards to be able to learn math by creating solutions. The math manipulatives will let my students figure out math problems.

Math, Math everywhere. Do you ever go a day without doing some type of math. My students need to be able to figure out math problems with anyone help. They lack the manipulatives to be able to take ten minutes and figure out a math problem on their own. Hopefully we can change all that.
My students are located in a rural area of southern Utah.
They come from all social economic backgrounds. We are a small school of about 350 students. My students love math and are always want to do more math than any other subject. They love to learn and love to be able to solve things on their own.
My Project
These resources will help my students to become better at a subject they all ready love. They will be able to figure out math problems by using manipulatives and actually thinking about how to get the answer and why the answer is that way. The manipulatives I've requested include place value blacks, pattern blocks, and unifix cubes. I will have them figure out everyday math problems that they will need for their futures. We will be able to see that there is not always one right way to figure out a math problem.
This donation will help my students to see that everyone has their own way of figuring out math problems and one way is not any better than other way.
All of my students, not just the ones who understand math, but all of them will be able to succeed by using manipulatives. All of them will see that math can be fun and that there are several ways to solve problems. I believe that this project can and will help my students to love math more.
