Help me give my students an opportunity to use a color printer to create study guides, classroom projects, and to communicate with parents on colorful paper.
I have 16 sweet creative second grade students. They are always wanting to create and make crafts for not only special occasions but, everyday learning. We are a Title I school and we don't always get to enjoy the “extras” like some of the bigger schools do. My students are very thankful for the little things and would love to have the supplies to be more creative in their everyday learning. They think it is the greatest when they get to use colored papers and highlighter to do their work. Let's make our classroom colorful one student at a time.
My Project
I found it more beneficial and easier to keep up with color coded notes.
My student's keep up better when they have colorful notes, study guides and letters to their parents.
I send study guides home weekly and I have several students to tell me that the color notes are easier to keep up with. Also, when I make their vocabulary cards on color paper, they seem to keep up better with them.
My student's also like when I print my writing papers on white paper with colorful headings. I want to able to print off at school verses at home.
