My students need 6 scopes to prepare for the upcoming periodic assessment which does require students to know about microscopes. This is the perfect microscope!

Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
We not only need working microscopes at our school, but fun microscopes where one unit can be a learning tool for at least 6 students. Our periodic assessment covers content about basic knowledge on microscopes and this would be fantastic to make the learning of how to use microscope concrete!
Our school is located in a very urban area in California.
We are in desperate need for funding for new and working equipment. As department chair we only have a budget for our Life Science department in the amount of 600 dollars. What to do? This school is a Title 1 school where 100 percent of the students are eligible for free lunches.
My Project
This project will help students learn how to use a microscope in a fun way. Many of our current microscopes are old and non-functioning and it is sad that our students are not given the opportunity as other students in more prosperous areas to have access to current and modern equipment that will help motivate our students to look forward to jobs that are in the math and sciences.
If you're looking for a school to donate your hard-working money... this is the school for you.
As department chair, I'm working hard to get whatever resources that are available to help these underprivileged students. My goal is to inspire these students to get inspired to be college bound and be interested in jobs that are heavy in the math and sciences. Please help!
