My Students

Our classroom is vibrant and active. We start every morning with songs and movement! We use craft supplies in our classroom currently, but do not have enough of a supply and our materials are old and outdated.

My students are hands on learners.

Some of my students are confined to wheelchairs, but we make sure that doesn't inhibit their full involvement in every activity. They love to learn and are proud of their school. Sensory play and arts and crafts make each day fun and engaging for them!

My Project

The materials I have requested will be used for various activities and lessons. Since my students seem to learn best with tactile materials, I have requested sensory and craft supplies, such as dough, stamps and paint, to supplement the curriculum we already have in place. I feel that these materials will help the students learn the alphabet and numbers through hands on experiences, and make the content of the lessons more concrete. The students will be able to paint and mold letters and numbers out of dough.

My students are the most important part of my classroom.

They make each day fun and interesting. My hope is to return this to them through fun and engaging lessons using the materials requested.
