Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

In this world that we currently live in, technology is a part of our everyday lives. Cell phones and iPads have become a part of just about every household in America. So why not use technology to enhance learning in the classroom?

My kindergarten students are very excited about learning.

I had a very diverse group of personalities in my classroom; which meant that I never had a dull day this past school year. When they found out that I was looping with them to first grade, they were ecstatic. Their parents were thrilled, also.

My Project

I cannot wait to use the projector and document camera with my students for the upcoming school year. Not only will these items help to enhance instruction and learning, but it will make learning and coming to school fun. I would use the projector to play internet games. The projector will make the screen larger and more interactive. I will use the document camera to guide instruction using a larger screen, as well.

In closing, the projector and the document camera will aid me in providing quality instruction for my students.

It will keep them engaged and provide them with an abundance of interactive resources that will ensure that they are learning the skills and concepts that are taught. Even though I had them in kindergarten and we had fun, first grade with them will be extraordinary. I cannot wait. Thank you for your help.
