iPad and Apple Pencil for Virtual Learning Experiences!
Help me give my students an amazing virtual learning experience through this COVID-19 pandemic. An up to date iPad and Apple Pencil will help me create activities and lessons that will help keep my students engaged.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our urban school community located in New Carrollton, Maryland houses many students from diverse backgrounds. We are a Title I school and have a large population of students who have great needs. Many of our students are members of our English as a Second Language (ESOL) population and are just beginning to learn English. We also have an 85% Free and Reduced-price Meals (FARMS) population which places many of our families in need of support.
My Project
The school year 2020-2021 will be a year unlike any for veteran and new teachers. I am requesting an iPad and Apple Pencil to help create engage lessons for my students. I also plan to use the iPad and Apple Pencil during my live lessons where I will in real time give examples and help students understand the math concepts. The keyboard will give me the ability to respond to questions and add text easily on assignments and lessons.
These tools will help in my virtual teaching lessons while my students are home through January 2021.
I will use a whiteboard application on the iPad to instruct my students on live lessons. This will allow me to share examples in real time with students and solve the problems while they are also working on the assignments.
