My students need a wireless projector to allow for visual support while learning. My students currently only have access to a whiteboard or chalkboard for their learning.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
When you enter my room, you see students work hard and try their best, but still find learning a challenge. My students need support to follow directions, copy notes, and practice mathematical equations. Math can be "as simple as pi" with technology!
My students come from diverse backgrounds; 34% of the students at our school receive free and reduced-price lunch.
In my classroom, 50% of the students receive free and reduced-price lunch.
Students usually don't have all the materials they need to begin the year, or technology at home, while I provide the little I have to help my students. My students come from divorced families, single-parent homes, parents that are working two jobs just to make ends meet, and many are in the military.
Additionally, it is difficult for parents to attend meetings because of their schedules, so the only place their child would get the best education is at school. With only a 25 year-old chalkboard to teach with, my resources are limited and lack the inclusive practices and technology needed to support diverse 21st Century learners.
My Project
I have requested a wireless projector so that my students can use this resource in my classroom through daily warm-ups, videos to introduce the lesson, and step by step instruction which can be paused and students could do one step at a time.
Also, if students didn't understand a lesson, other lessons can be projected to help my students understand a concept and provides hands-on instruction with a visual for students to see. My students would be able to learn visually and be able to grasp grade level material, move-up into mastery, and successfully pass their State test scores.
In addition, if I needed supplemental materials, the projector would provide this to my students. I want my students to learn through differentiated instruction, and having a wireless projector in my classroom will make this happen.
Having a projector in my room would improve classroom quality performance on quizzes, tests, benchmarks, and state testing.
The projector will help my students, as there are many concepts in math that require visuals for differentiated instruction. The projector will help my students build on prior knowledge, help my students grow and become life-long learners.
Best of all, they will be actively engaged in the lessons. With this Epson projector, my students will blossom throughout the year!
