Help! We Need Supplies To Finish The Year

My students need a pencil sharpener, pencils, erasers, markers, dry erase boards, stamp pads, and paper.

My Students

I tell my students that their education is the only thing someone cannot take away from them. It is their most precious jewel and they deserve to have it.

My first grade students come to school every day eager to learn how to reach the next reading level and master math concepts.

I have a diverse classroom but we are a family and they care about each other, even on the hardest days! My students are smart and funny and they LOVE centers and technology! Our school is a Title One school, with 95% of the students receiving free lunch.

My Project

We still have a few months of school and our supplies are running out. My students need to work hard all the way to the end of the school year. The materials that I am requesting will be used on a daily basis. We still have two more units of study and our chart paper and poster markers are coming to an end. We still have plenty of charts to help us with our writing. Our current pencil sharpener is not working so our pencils are dull. Getting a new sharpener will help us work till the end. The copy paper will help us wrap up the year. We create a portfolio of all our writing and this paper will help give it the look it deserves. The birthday crowns, dry erase boards and stamp pads will help make sure everyone has a chance to celebrate and participate.

I cannot wait to see the look on my students faces when we get our new supplies.

They are grateful for any gift given to them. I am also looking forward to not spending precious class time searching for sharpened pencils or a marker that is not dried out. Getting these supplies will really help us finish out the year.
