My students need playground equipment to foster their love for the outdoors and get healthier while doing so! I am requesting several balls and jump ropes to get moving.

My Students

Help us get moving with the playground equipment we so desperately need! In a class of 30 we have two playground balls so equipment is at a premium. Students fight almost daily over who will get to use the balls and when they are taken; several students feel unmotivated to even play outside.

My students are a lively and energetic group of fourth graders in an urban school.

They are constantly up and moving, so playground equipment where students can get their "wiggles" out is absolutely essential for us to get through the day with smiles on our faces!

My Project

These resources will allow all of my students to play outdoors and enjoy their time doing so. Additionally, the playground equipment is great team building resources that many of my students so desperately need to make and keep friends. In fourth grade academics are getting more difficult and so it is even more important that students have that release to get energy out in a positive way. I am requesting basketballs, playground balls, jump ropes, footballs, and bags to keep all of our materials safe and organized.

Your donation will make a huge impact on our classroom by allowing all students to participate in recess in a positive way.

Additionally, as school budgets are cut, money for playground materials is often gone so your donation is absolutely essential for our classroom. Thank you in advance for your generous support of my current class and those students for several years to come.
