This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are amazing! They are respectful, kind, and hardworking. BUT they don’t necessarily love to read. I’m trying my best to show them that reading is the best way for us to escape the real world and live inside another world for awhile. I want to stock my shelves with books that have characters unlike any they have seen before. I will use these books to lead a “book tasting” where the students will read short bits of a few books and choose one to do a book study.
