My Students

Do you remember what it was like when you grew up and found out things about the world that you wish someone had told you about? I am trying to tell my students about the importance of learning how to code.

The students in this Pk-5 urban/suburban neighborhood school are diverse in every way you can possibly imagine.

We are racially, ethnically, and socioeconomically diverse. Many students have learning differences as our school is the only one in the school district designated as a full inclusion school. This makes our school the school of choice for many families who have children with exceptionalities, learning differences, and other social/emotional needs. Most importantly, the students in our school are sweet, helpful, caring, and motivated to learn. They believe they can achieve, and they can!!!

My Project

Have you ever thought something was beyond your reach but then someone came along and showed you that your goal was possible? I am trying to inspire students to tap into the part of their brain that thinks critically and solves problems to develop their computational logic which is something we need to focus more on in schools!
