My students need storage boxes and racks to store manipulatives and supplies to be organized and a skirt of fabric to keep them from being a distraction.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
Having a well-supplied classroom is every teacher's dream, having "just the trick!" to address every type of learner. Part of maintaining classroom supplies is with organized storage options.
My school is an urban high school for students with special needs.
Most of the students qualify for free lunch, and their families live below the poverty level. However, my kids strive to earn their credits, pass their state exams, and earn their diploma.
My Project
Organization is key when it comes to a positive classroom environment, and managing the classroom space is the first step in managing the classroom behavior. I'm requesting bins, and racks to store class supplies in the back of the room, and fabric to use as an attractive curtain. My kids would be able to take out the bin of math blocks, and store them away next to the bin of art supplies and the rack of paper. Students could be assigned storage asks and given a sense of responsibility.
Students should learn the life lesson of "A place for everything, and everything in it's place." This project will help clear up clutter and make the classroom environment more streamlined for learning.
