My Students

My Pre-K students are from all backgrounds. They attend our Title I PreK, Monday-Friday for a half day. We are in a diverse neighborhood with students of many different cultures that attend Pre-K. Our school services PreK-5th grades. We have over 250 students in our school. Our Pre-K services the neediest students in our community.

Despite the many challenges my students may face, they are eager to learn.

They love school and can't wait to see what we are learning and doing each day.

My Project

These books will help me expose my students to more diverse experiences in our classroom. The paints will them help them use those diverse experiences to create beautiful images they connect with. Preschoolers love to paint, create, and explore the things around them. It is how they learn best. These books will not only help my students but also help me become a more well rounded teacher. The kiddos will be able to take the paint sets home if needed to enrich their at home learning as well. Thank you.
