My students need a digital upgrade in the art room! The tools that would make the upgrade complete include a high quality document camera and 10 tripod mount adapters.

My students express themselves creatively through art. Cultivating an idea and translating it through the artistic process is the culture of our artroom. A digital upgrade would continue to enhance the creative process for all.
My students are amazing!
I feel very fortunate to work with such innovative and diverse group of students and teach at a school that cultivates such a culture! Our students embody characteristics of being tech savvy, culturally aware, creative problem-solvers, global thinkers and leaders. "Expressions" is a core class that students take daily throughout their middle school years.That means students take 540 days of art class during middle school! In order to continue to build, extend, and connect students with art we must strive to offer engaging and meaningful experiences along with high quality tools to provoke thought and engagement!

How will a digital upgrade benefit the students- Oh, let me count the ways!
First off, a document camera in my opinion is the number one essential tool all classrooms must have! A document camera can be used for instruction, demonstration, evaluation, assessment- and not just by the teacher, a doc camera is a students best friend, too.
Up until this point direct instruction or demonstrations have been in front of the classroom with all 30 students huddled around. In no way is this form of instruction reaching all students! Help me make an instructional impact every day for all students!
The iPad mounts are essential for filming in the artroom. Stop Motion Animation, RSA Videos, Claymation- have all been filmed up until this point with books propping up the iPads. VERY SHAKEY! Please help stabilize and maximize student filmmaking potential every day!
Having a document camera in the artroom will provide students with more opportunity to connect with and communicate through art!
students will be thrilled to be able to watch a demonstration while sitting down at their seat without struggling to watch me from where they are standing. The filmmaking process will go so much smoother without having to find daily props that need repositioning to capture the same angle to continue a film. My students deserve the best!
