My students will benefit from a Chromebook for extracurricular activities in computer science in the field of STEM.
Marc Benioff states, "Learning to code at a young age opened my eyes to the incredibly exciting world of technology and entrepreneurship.
Our youth deserve the opportunity to learn the skills that will enable them to succeed in our connected world."
This quote resonates with me because teaching computer coding is a growing education trend. Computer coding is being taught early on to elementary school children. Through computer coding, you are teaching young children to use a language to instruct a computer to perform a function as it follows your command. My students think coding rocks and it is critical to learn about it early on. It is imperative for children to learn to debug programs as they encounter errors in their code. This teaches children how to problem solve and to critically think on their own to solve their own errors. There is a shortage in the computer science industry. It is essential for all students to have computer science skills in the work force in the field of STEM because the trend for having these computer skills are rising. The students will use the Chromebook to invent different inventions by using the Makey Makey kit.
Let's empower all of my students to become leaders of tomorrow in the field of computer science. My students are ready to take on the challenge of setting the trend for tomorrow. Computer science is like a "new fashion" and we need to embrace technology by taking the lead and rising above horizons to achieve our dreams. Let's brighten my students year with this spectacular Chromebook.
