Do you remember kindergarten? The smell of the new crayons, the excitement of a hands-on lesson, the fun had during circle time? My students love to learn in a group setting. Having a bright, colorful, new rug for the students to gather on will further that love.
Our classroom in an Integrated kindergarten classroom.
There are multiple students on Individual Education Plans and several students who are on the Autism Spectrum. The remainder of the students are considered peer partners and aid in the learning of the Special Education students.
My Project
My students would love a vibrant and colorful rug to be able to gather on during our group times. This rug would also be used in a variety of ways to aid in color and shape recognition. Having a meeting place would foster great communication and listening skills.
My students deserve to have the best education and education supplies that I can provide them.
Please consider helping to bring a bright, fun, and cheery carpet to our classroom to make our group time a more positive experience!
