My Project

My students who are struggling readers often feel left out and discouraged by not having books that they can actually read. The S.P.I.R.E Illustrated Decodable books I have chosen for this project will be used for these struggling readers to read independently and foster a love for reading!

I am a certified Orton-Gillingham instructor.

I use the approach in my general education classroom for students who are not yet identified as having a reading disability. This project will help my students feel confident and expand their knowledge on learned phonics skills.
