This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

A typical day in my classroom is all literacy focused. My students are hungry and excited each day to stretch their brains just a little more while they become better readers and writers.

These students face daily challenges from being hungry, to being without a home, to have a home with no heat.

The last thing these children need is to walk in a classroom where they are filled with trust and hope and be disappointed because they don't have the materials they need.

My Project

By providing your donation you will be providing much needed resources to our classroom. My students will have a pencil sharpener and pencils to help them to work during work time. They will have an organizer that will sit by the board which will help maintain the organization of our materials. Dry erase markers, chart paper markers, and a magnetic letter board which can all be used during small group work.

My students will be thrilled to see just how generous and amazing people can be.

They will have the materials they'll need to be successful during independent work time as well as during small group work time. We will be able to stay organized and have the materials they need!
