Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Do you remember when you were in kindergarten? Do you remember all the fun art projects and materials your teacher had? I want my students to have those great memories as well.
I am a first year teach at a Title I school.
This means that most of my students live at or below the poverty level and receive free breakfast and lunch each day. As a first year teacher, I don't have many supplies to help make learning fun and exciting.
My Project
We don't have basic art supplies like construction paper or crayons. With construction paper and crayons, my students will be able to draw and create amazing pictures. Butterfly collages, collage frames, paint ponies, suncatchers and scratch paper will allow my students the opportunity to use their imaginations and creativity in a great new way through art.
Please help my students receive all the necessary art materials to make learning fun and exciting.
Kindergarten happens only once in a child's life. I want it to be a memorable one.
