My Students

"If you can dream it, you can do it." is a philosophy that the learners in my classroom leave with. When they first come to my kindergarten classroom, some of them come with no educational background. They know zero letters, no numbers and they may not even be able to write their own name. We spend time together as a class, building an environment where it is encouraged to take chances, explore and make mistakes. They will be the first to tell you that making mistakes just means you're learning.

Kindergarten students are natural thinkers and problem solvers when we, as teachers, allow them to be.

My Project

Many of my students do not have many books at home. Having a subscription to the Learning A to Z website would give them access to thousands of leveled books.

Books will be printed for students on their own individual guided reading level to keep in their personal library in our classroom.

As students master each reading level, they will be able to take the books home to read to family.

Science A to Z allows students and teachers the chance to explore many different topics both in print and online.
