My students need a bass/keyboard amplifier for rehearsals and performances.

"If you're not making a mistake, it's a mistake." -Miles Davis. I challenge my guitar and jazz improvisation students to push themselves every day. If they aren't making mistakes in my class, then they aren't learning enough about themselves or the music.
My guitar ensemble and jazz improvisation students continuously push themselves to take their performance skills to the next level.
They love to play, and they sound better every day. Our learning community is full of creative, passionate students and teachers. We believe in the power of Arts Education to improve the lives of all of our kids. My students are a diverse bunch of middle school and high school musicians. They collaborate every day to make beautiful music together.
With this bass and keyboard amplifier, my students will finally be able to learn, rehearse, and perform a variety of music (jazz, classical, pop, rock, etc.) in lots of different ensembles. The main reason we need this amp is for the improvisational jazz ensemble. Students in the class learn to perform music in the bebop tradition. They focus on improvising over jazz standards. In addition, this amp will be used by students in the concert band, orchestra, and guitar ensembles in daily rehearsals and performances.
I always teach my music students that their sound is their signature.
In order to get the right sound, a musician has to have the right knowledge, the right technique, and the right equipment. If you donate to this project, then you will be helping my bass and keyboard students learn to develop their sound.
