My students need the Whisper Phones in order to help these young learners develop their reading and spelling abilities.

My Students
I want my students to be reading On or Above 2nd grade level by the end of their 2nd grade year. These Whisper Phones could make the difference in a student who excels in reading, and a student who struggles their whole life.
My second grade students are the most amazing, well mannered, hard working students I have ever got the pleasure to teach.
We are nestled in a small town in Missouri, with a very high poverty rate. There are 530 students within the walls of this Elementary School, with over half of those students on the free/reduced lunch list.
My Project
We currently have 4 Whisper Phones in our classroom, and my students have a hard time giving up their Whisper Phone to share with another. They love hearing themselves read, and they really enjoy the benefits of these items. Believe it or not, my students understand how much these Whisper Phones help them.
As I have stated before, my students completely understand how the Whisper Phone helps their reading and spelling skills.
With such a high poverty rate in our small town, my students don't always get the help at home that the desperately need. When these kids come into my classroom to read, a Whisper Phone is the first thing they grab. They understand that hearing yourself read can improve your reading fluency, comprehension, and even your spelling. Please help my students.
