My students need a large magnetic white board for extended learning time. There are amazing magnetic activities that will expand their higher order thinking skills.
Students need ample hands on activities that promote higher order thinking. Centers that have magnetic components are becoming the norm. Our classroom has nothing to use these magnetic activities on and we are missing out on exciting new things that will enhance all aspects of learning.
Our school is considered highly impoverished.
We are very rural with minimal activities located near us. We need to bring the activities to our students. My kids are amazing. They are always wanting to learn something new. Even my students who are lower achieving need the access and ability to improve in all areas at school.
My Project
I want to give my students every possible opportunity to grow and learn new things, that's why I am asking for a magnetic white board. I want to provide many different activities that will make them think outside the box. My kids need different ways of working on their lessons, and one way is with magnetic centers.
Being able to provide for my students' education is very important to me.
I have always purchased items for the classroom with my personal money. Unfortunately that is becoming harder to do. By getting a magnetic white board for the classroom I will be able to have more activities available for the students as well as have something to write on a different times during the day. I will also be able to use it during small group time to help my struggling students visualize what I am trying to say.
