My students and I are in need of a table for our classroom. I want to have the opportunity to teach them in small groups and one on one if necessary, without a table, this is not possible.
My students are 4th graders who are full of energy and are eager to learn.
I have students who receive special education services, as well as regular education students in my classroom.
Having a table to be able to teach my struggling students at in a smaller group setting, would increase the learning opportunities that I can provide.
My Project
My students and I would use the table for many different activities. I would use it to have guided reading lessons, small group work, and one on one time with a struggling student.
My students would use the table for other activities as well, such as a place to sit and discuss books in literature groups.
Having a table will allow me to meet more of my students' educational needs.
I will be able to pull a small group of students who are struggling up to review or reteach a lesson that they did not understand.
