We use dry erase boards everyday in our room. Unfortunately, our classroom board is a gross disaster and students cannot use it! We also need new student markers and erasers.
I work in a city school that is made up of many ELL (English Language Learners) and many low income families.
Most students qualify for free or reduced lunches. Many of our school's families cannot afford to buy school supplies. The students love to write on the board and are unable to do so now.
My Project
We use our dry erase boards all the time in my classroom. Unfortunately, they are running out of dry erase markers and the erasers are falling apart. We use the classroom board everyday, but it is cheap and in bad shape. The board is dirty, scuffed, and peeling off the wall. A new one would make learning easier and more fun.
Getting a new classroom dry erase board will make it easier for the students to use the classroom board.
Their new markers and erasers will enable them to write on their own boards as well.
