My Students

The team is ready and willing to work hard and learn how to tackle and block. The problem is our tackling dummies have so many years of use on them they just can't go another season.

Our student athletes aspire to do great things and they are willing to put forth the effort to succeed.

They look for to get involved, in activities, with others who share their passion and once there they help each other to excel. Financially, our rural school district is considered to be one of high poverty. Despite this, we try very hard to keep our programs operating at a level that will allow our students the same opportunities as those in other districts.

My Project

Although imagination is great, there is only so much you can do in sports without equipment. Where today the athletes must limit their time working on blocking and tackling, with these tackling dummies they will have the opportunity to perfect their techniques without the need for contact or trying to visualize a ghost player in front of them.

It is no secret working together to reach a common goal can be both educational and fulfilling.

These tackling dummies will be used for years to come as our students learn to work as a team and grow as individuals through the game of football.
