I want my students to have only the best education possible. In order for that to happen I need some basic supplies. Through all of our hard work and exploration this school year, our supplies are running short quickly.
I am very honored to have this group of 12 Kindergarten students ,that are truly the best.
They are inquisitive, hands on learners that push me to be my best everyday. My students like to be right in the middle of their learning. What more could a teacher ask for? Unfortunately, classroom supplies have ran out or are very close to running out. My school does not currently have the funds to help us out. We come from a small rural district and a low income community. The means are just not there, but I can't give up on my students and what they deserve.
My Project
These materials will help my students continue to learn through hands on activities. It will give them the opportunity to continue to question, learn, and push themselves to learn outside what a perceived Kindergartner can learn. These materials will empower my students and show them just how much they are cared about.
I can't express how much these materials will impact my classroom.
As Benjamin Franklin said, " Tell me and I will forget, Teach me and I will remember, Involve me and I will learn." My students deserve to be involved in their learning. Please help me continue to let my students be involved as they learn.
